Are the cottages halal-friendly?
Yes. We select properties with fully equipped kitchens so Muslim guests can prepare their own halal meals. We can also pre-stock the property with halal groceries before your arrival. Prayer mats and qibla direction information are available on request.
How many guests can the cottages accommodate?
Our properties range from intimate retreats sleeping 4–6 guests to large manor houses and lodges for 20–30+ guests. We always match the property to your group size. Contact us with your party number and we will find the perfect match.
Is transport from Kraków to the cottage included?
Yes. IK Travels provides private door-to-door transport from Kraków Airport or your hotel directly to the cottage. Our driver takes you there and picks you up at checkout — no taxis, no public transport.
Can we combine a cottage stay with guided tours from Kraków?
Absolutely. Many guests combine a cottage stay in Zakopane with our Kraków city tour, an Auschwitz tour, or the Wieliczka Salt Mine tour. We coordinate the full itinerary including all transport.
What is the best time of year to rent a cottage in Poland?
Summer (June–August) is ideal for lakeside and countryside retreats. Winter (December–February) is perfect for mountain lodges in Zakopane with snow, skiing, and the Christmas market. Spring and autumn offer quieter, more affordable stays at all locations.
How far in advance should I book a cottage?
We recommend contacting us at least 4 weeks before your planned stay. For peak summer and winter seasons, 6–8 weeks advance booking is strongly advised as premium properties fill up quickly.
Can I see photos and details before I confirm the booking?
Yes. We send you full property details, photos, location, and a confirmed price before any payment is required. We want you to be completely certain before committing to a booking.
Is there a minimum rental period for the cottages?
Most properties have a minimum stay of 2 nights, though this varies by property and season. Some properties are available for single night bookings during quieter periods. Contact us with your exact dates and we will advise on availability.
